What is wedding coordination?

As a bride who has planned for months and months, you deserve to have the BEST day. Wedding coordination allows the bride to plan the events of the wedding day with someone along side to answer questions, bounce ideas off of, and then execute those details for a beautiful and stress-free wedding day.

If i hire the best wedding vendors, do i really need a day of coordinator?

You should DEFINITELY hire a great team of vendors! They are there to provide excellent service to make your wedding day amazing (be sure to check out of list of preferred vendors). When you prioritize a wedding coordinator, your other wedding vendors can focus solely on their area of expertise, instead of trying to “coordinate” everything else that is happening on the wedding day. Your vendor team will truly appreciate hiring a wedding day-of coordinator!

how much communication is included?

After we are squared away with the contract, clients have unlimited access to us for phone calls, texts, and emails. We start with an initial meeting where we get to know each other and hear about your wedding planning so far. Around 3 months before the wedding day, we will have a planning between with the bride and coordinator who will be helping with your wedding. Last but not least, there is a final details meeting around 2-3 weeks before the wedding day to go over every last detail to ensure for a stress-free day!

is a wedding coordinator needed if the venue offers someone?

Absolutely! Venue coordinators coordinate all things related to the venue, but that is usually where their responsibilities end. YOU are our priority and we help to ensure that YOUR wedding day is planned and executed as you’d like it to be! We communicate with all the vendors through the entire day.

do you have free initial consultations?

Yes! We’d love to chat over the phone or FaceTime and see if we can find a good fit to help you with your wedding!

does day 1 wedding coordinating travel?

ABSOLUTELY! We love to travel and explore new cities! So far, we have coordinated weddings in Colorado, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, and Texas.

I have already planned everything for my wedding, so do i really need a wedding coordinator?

The answer is “YES!” We work with many brides who consider themselves detail-oriented and maybe even “Type A.'“ Leading up to the big day, everything has been carefully planned, down to the very last detail. Having a wedding coordinator that you trust will ensure that everything you have planned will happen just as you envisioned. how do we know day 1 wedding coordinating is a good fit for us?

Day 1 is a perfect fit for the bride who knows exactly what they want for their wedding day and can clearly communicate their vision.
